    this marvelous wonder
    powerful, fast and strong
agile, sleek and oh so sexy
enabling me to explore this world, this life
allowing me to sensuously sense and experience
and become more, oh so much more
    I love this car

    I know
I am much more than this car
    I am larger, more powerful...more...
I feel myself teetering on the edge
    getting ready to leave
on the way to exploring on my own
knowing I can leave and come back
but I'm a little bit scared
so for now, I'll stay in the car

    This car is my body

Centralized governments MUST be one of the biggest follies ever made by man! How is it good to have fewer and fewer people deciding for all? How is local governing a bad thing? Why are common laws for different regions and folks considered to be a good thing?
I think a world in which local communities decided what was best for them would be a smorgasbord of colorful variation from which we would learn and evolve from, purely by inspiration. This would of course require a mastering of the art of mutual respect and freedom.
Democracy is proving to be one big holly sham, when more and more elections end up in funny "power sharing" solutions by even funnier politicians. And when it becomes apparent that the governments have no say at all, after all.
Which would get me started on the world financial system...yes, there is ONLY one at the moment...but the truth about that is evident, is it not? Maybe not.
I can hardly wait for the moment of truth :-)

    I'm finding
that one man can treat two different women in different ways
one he treats like a queen and adores because she respects herself
and one he mistreats and ignores because she does not respect herself

    I'm also finding that
I want a man who treats all women as queens
    irregardless
    and all men as kings
because he is compassionate, wise and loving
for such is the mantle of a REAL MAN

    With:
    • No money-hungry, economy-distablising, insane-power-mad government controlling individuals (I'm not even trying to hide the fact that this in reference to the Federal Bank owners)
    • Free provision of basic necessities (water, power, housing, unprocessed foods) through green technologies that are NOT patented
    • Alternative monetary systems NOT based on interest
    • Absolute harmony with nature and its cycles
    • True freedom of being
The funniest thing about such an idea is that most humans don't even think they deserve such utopia. Life is funny :-)

I'm reading "How To BE An Adult In Relationships" by David Richo and really enjoying the book beyond measure. I'm not even done and the AHA's have been uncountable.

First off I really like the definition of love as five mindsets: Attention, Acceptance, Appreciation, Affection and Allowing.

I never understood the idea of love as a feeling that naturally appears...and even if did just appear, I always wondered what actions constituted love. These mindsets have defined love for me in a more tangible way that allows me to work at being unconditionally loving, firstly of myself and then of others.

    More Ahas

" The recurrent fantasy of or search for the "perfect partner" is a strong signal from our psyche that we have to work to do on ourselves."

And when the work is done

" We find we want a partner who walks beside us in the world and not one we hope will change its givens or provide an escape-hatch from them."

"The complexity of adult relationships is not about transactions between two adults but the fact that such transactions never start. Instead two children are tugging at each others sleeve shouting in unison " look what happened to me when I was a kid. Make it stop and make it better for me".
In effect we are asking an innocent bystander to repair a problem he has no knowledge of and little skill to repair.

Funny enough, he speaks of meditation as well...recommending at least 20 minutes everyday....I love how he defines meditation

"Meditation is not a means of forgetting the ego: It is a method of using the ego to observe and tame its own manifestations."

He defines 5 mindsets of the ego that curtail our ability to love in a way that hit home with me.

    1. Fear or worry
    2. Desire for others or something to fulfill our demands
    3. Judgment...could be criticism or idealization...putting people on pedestals...insincere praise.
    4. Control...wanting others to comply with our idea of how things should be. My experience is that control is usually employed by using the infamous "if you love me you'll do...123" sentence.
    5. Illusion...in the form of denial, projection, depreciation etc.

    And finally...

"To love is to become loving. To practice the 5 A's....It is not that practice makes perfect but that practice is perfect."

I'm all for being in the moment and moving forward from this moment...setting intent and then living that intent moment to moment. Is this right?

I have to ask, because of :

“In evolutionary spirituality, we are more interested in the future than we are in the present moment. Why? Because the present moment has already happened, so there is not much that we can do about it." Andrew Cohen

    hmmm...

Upon reflection, I can see that I'm STILL a fan of the present moment. The future exists as thought alone...it has not manifested. The present moment is really ALL there is and ALL we can do is be in it, acting in the present moment. We affect the future from this moment...it is not done...it is NEVER done.

    hmmm...

"When we begin to care about evolution, we feel a passion for the future that is all-consuming.” Andrew Cohen

    Er...I don't know?????? Something doesn't fit right. "All-consuming"?

"We’re convinced that spiritual enlightenment is not a personal matter, but an evolutionary potential that really does have the power to change our world from the inside out and create a new foundation for our collective culture." Andrew Cohen

Hmmm...it IS a personal matter, such a radical thought that...we are all unique thus our paths are such, and YET we are one.

I might be nitpicking...but again a single word bothers me..."potential"...reeks of something out there...which reeks of looking without rather that within...which reeks of not accepting what is.

    But like I said...I don't know....

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." -Thomas Jefferson -

    My yogi says...

    Energy responds to thought.

Ah! What a brilliant way to say "You are what you think"! Brill! Will forthwith be using my thoughts to send lots of pink flower energy to anyone and everyone. Be warned world! I come armed with pink thoughts and pink energy...
See, I don't know what other adults fill their imaginative worlds with, if they even have imaginative worlds, but mine is filled with lovely pretty pink frilly stuff and loads of flowers....and cute pink bunnies...and...
I also just found out that pink, which happens to be my favorite color :-), is the color of forgiveness!
I'm also finding out that the visualizing stuff is VERY important. I thought it silly the first time I heard someone telling me to visualize light flowing my body or my imaginative life line....uhm...and now I know that it's not so silly.
