    I just heard the most amazing song I have heard in a while. It is Laura Story’s song titled Blessings and it goes something like this…

    Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
    What if Your healing comes through tears
    What if a thousand sleepless nights
    Are what it takes to know You’re near
    What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

    Just earlier today I was talking with someone about God’s character and the assumption of most Americans that God wouldn’t allow bad things to happen to them. This song sums up a more biblical understanding of our God and what he would allow us to grow through.
