Oh my, I cannot believe I am becoming a TV addict...actually, not a TV but a "What About Brian" addict. For all you folk that were addicted to sijui kina Friends, ER, 24 and what not, there is a new series and it is called, "What About Brian." I love this show...but then again, it is only a TV show with beautiful people with successful careers.
Okay, since i have not gotten the characters names so far, apart from Brian, I will just say the cute doctor chic who is engaged to the cute lawyer guy. Okay, this is just TV, but these people are perfect (as in gorgeous + awesome careers)..
and what are the odds that the lawyer guy gets an assignment from the senior partner in his huge law firm to deal with a "million-dollar-difficult-client" and nails it right on the head?? AMAZING - but only because it is a TV show. I can tell you right now that junior associates in law firms (especially those big blue chip law firms) will most times not get to see a client, let alone be given sole responsibility of dealing with the client alone. Those things go to senior partners and/or senior associates (those who have been in the law firm for upwards of 5 yrs, not some junior associate fresh out of law school and the bar examination room)..
BUT..this is TV, so unrealtic things get to be realized...and when "non-law" people ask me, "wow, the practise of law must be exciting, like Boston Public or some of the other TV law series", i am like, you don't get to see the real research and writing and putting in the long hours part of it. # Kenyan Blogs ? >>
